how to run ultrasurf on ubuntu

hey guys i have working a alot to find proxy or VPN apps for ubuntu that works perfectly! there is TOR project but i really couldn't find out how to work on it and i wanted to use a small app called ultra surf!

- WHY ultra surf?

well ultra surf is really a small program that need no installation and it is portable on a USB !
you can download ultra surf last version from the main site .

- how to use it?

when you start ultra surf wait abit untill it says "successfully connected to server"
then change your proxy setting to
Host:127.0.0.1
port:9666
and for firefox there is addon for easy enable/disable ultrasurf!
- UBUNTU 10.10:
well first ultrasurf is executable file i.e : .exe so it work only on windows!
so you need wine1.2 to use it!
after downloading and installing wine 1.2 you can run windows executable files on it!

1-downloading and installing wine1.2:

go to http://winehq.org and download wine OR here how you can download it step by step:
for downloading wine open the ubuntu software center you can find it Application>Ubuntu software center.
now after opening it click on Edit > software sources 
now click on other softwares tab then click add
now in the APT line enter the following:
ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
now click on add resource and close it.
now after you did that perfectly click here to download wine1.2.
now maybe you need to restart your computer after installing!

OR :
for offline installation here is the packages in .deb format to install:
- download the package from ubuntu and chose the nearest server mirror to you

2- installing missing DLLs file to run ultrasurf:

now there is DLL files needed to run ultrasurf you can find them in the zip file that you downloaded from the alternative links!

put the DLLs in the same folder with ultrasurf "U1017.exe" file.

else you can :

copy the DLLs to this location:

home/$USER/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/

$USER is your login name.

sometimes you don't find /drive_c/ look if there is folder instead called /C:/.

*if you find that difficult : click on Applications>wine>Brows C: files 
then copy the DLLs to the C:/windows/system32/ folder

3- starting ultrasurf and changing proxy settings:

well for now ultrasurf must work if you've done the steps perfectly!
but now how to change the proxy settings?
now well first for firefox in ubuntu there is an easy way to enable/disable ultrasurf by an addon for firefox
you can download it from here:
you can download it with XPI extension so when download please click allow in your browser to install it!

OR download in ZIP and extract it then drag the file wjbutton_en.xpi to fire fox and click allow.

now after downloading and installing the addon restart firefox and you can find ultrasurf logo OR WJ disabled .
now run ultrasurf and after connecting to the server successfully click on the logo "or the WJ disabled" to enable the ultrasurf proxy with firefox click again to disable it!

now for the whole system configuration to make the system use ultrasurf or to make ubuntu chat/email use ultrasurf go to system>preferences>network proxy
click on location list and select New location chose a location name "like ultrasurf"  then check Manual proxy configuration then insert the following:

HTTP proxy: 127.0.01

port:9666

and check use the same proxy for all protocols .
now click on  apply system-wide... enter your password and here you go your whole system now using ultrasurf for all connections! but if you want to disable using system ultrasurf just click on location and select Default.
and thats it! enjoy your internet with freedom!
