open the terminal "you can find it under the Applications>Accessories>terminal
copy and past the following:
sudo gedit /etc/hosts
if you are not logged in as Administrator it will promote to you to eneter the administrator password
enter it and press enter
here you go you can edit the hosts file and save it.
